If you’re in the Kansas City, Missouri area, bring the kids to meet me on Saturday, July 10th at the Kansas City Central Library. At 2:00 PM, I’ll give my fun performance about what it’s like to be a writer and the exciting path I took to get here. I’ll perform my dynamic multimedia presentation, take time to answer as many questions possible, and I may even break out the guitar!
However, if there are any young writers out there (or kids just becoming interested in writing), I plan to give a fun and informative writing workshop that morning at 10:30 AM. It’s nothing too strenuous and every grade, skill, and experience level is welcome. I give the kids some helpful hints and practices to begin improving their writing skills right now!

I look forward to meeting you AND I’d like to check out those giant books on the Central Library parking garage. Of course, by “check out” I mean check out in the looking sense not check out in the library sense. Because… well… they’re really really big… and probably not real.
