Today I had the pleasure of visiting two more Katy ISD schools, the first one being Bryant Elementary in the morning!

It was super hero day at Bryant which fit right in with the reveal of my upcoming Wonder Woman book!

It was also Virgil’s birthday so he donned his tuxedo and posed for some shots!

For the afternoon, I enjoyed performing two shows for the students at nearby Stephens Elementary!

Thanks to Mrs. Casillas and Mrs. Bryant for having me out. Thanks to Mrs. Frank for sending your class’s comments about my show. And a big thanks to all the great kids at Bryant and Stephens Elementarys! I hope you enjoyed my presentations and remember those four words!

Day two in my current Houston area tour took me all the way out to Richter Elementary in Dayton, TX!

I had a great time performing for the entire school and even had some of the students give me wonderful introductions before two of my shows. Thanks: Addison, Brianna, Eli, Jackson, Korren, Kylie, Samuel, and Tristen. Great job!

Thanks to Mrs. Stoker for inviting me out. Thanks to Mrs. Orebo for all the help. And the biggest thanks of all goes to all the great Richter Elementary students. I had a great time at your school and I hope you enjoy reading the books I signed for your library!

Today I returned to the Houston area, AND I returned to one of my favorite stops in Katy, TX–WoodCreek Elementary–home of the Forest Rangers!

It was great being back in the forest-themed school, especially since I’m finishing up a book that takes place in a summer camp–great timing!

I got to hang out in the library all morning with the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders, where I met tons of young writers and future screenwriters!

Thanks to Mrs. Baker for inviting me back and for setting up some other Katy schools this week. And a big thanks to all the Forest Rangers I met today. Be sure to check out some of the books I signed for your library!

Today I spent the day (and evening) at Deepwater Elementary in Pasadena, TX! I first performed three shows for their enthusiastic 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders and met many young readers and writers as I signed books for both the students AND the school library!

That evening, I was honored to perform at Deepwater’s literacy night where the theme was books that were turned into movies. I signed some more books, posed for more photos, and had a fun time all around.

I enjoyed meeting many parents and gave them a special treat when I had the kids help me perform my song at the end of my presentation. The phones were really out and recording then!

Thanks to Mrs. Tabuena for inviting me and for all the hard work. Thanks to Mrs. Staley for the wonderful tech support. Thanks to Mrs. Cabaniss for the generous gift basket. And the biggest thanks of all goes to the great students of Deepwater Elementary! I hope you enjoyed literacy night and I hope you enjoy reading my books!
