The day before, I had just flown in from chilly Kansas City and had driven all the way down to Victoria where no jacket was needed. I must not have been ready for the shift in temperature because I was sweating in the South Texas humidity (something I haven\u2019t been used to since living in Brownsville, TX). I still had a great time and was once again thrilled by how many young writers there were in both audiences.
