School & Library Visits
Between writing projects, I’m thrilled to give presentations to schools and libraries across the country! Having been fortunate enough to write for so many famous brands, I’ve found that the children are fans of many of those characters and enjoy meeting the guy who writes some of those books and videos. Because of this built-in familiarity, the students require almost no prep time for my visit!
My current show not only describes what it’s like to be an author and screenwriter but also explores the exciting journey of how I got here—from being a professional photographer to blowing things up as a Special Effects Technician for film and television. My appearances have been described as the “rock-n-roll” author visits since I come with an animated presentation, humor, audio/visual elements, loads of energy, and a guitar—that’s right, a guitar!
Most importantly, the main theme of my show is how the kids in the audience can be anything they want to be. I was in elementary school when I was first inspired to become a writer and they too can get inspired right now! It’s just that simple and exciting!
I’m available to present in front of groups of any size but I also enjoy leading workshops for smaller groups of kids who are interested in writing.
Contact me at: ant@masteele.com for my availability and fee. Whenever possible, I’m happy to schedule multi-day performances where school districts can pool resources.
